Ockford Ridge Community Mural

This April I started working with the community of Ockford Ridge in Godalming, Surrey. Together we will be making a large scale community mural that reflects the small village through its history, its present and its visual stamp on the area. I will be working with the very young through to the older generations who have lived on the estate for a long time.

Changes are a foot, Waverley Council is upgrading and redeveloping the estate with new homes, but the disruption has understandably been upsetting and unsettling. Whilst I work with this close knit village I hope that we can reflect in our art work the sense of the community who will view the mural everyday as the development proceeds.
